Was this a vicious attack by an activist horse? What weapon did it use? A cosh? A horseshoe? What was it protesting against?
Or was it a horse falling out of the sky? Do these things happen in places like Gatcombe? Was it a botched alien horse abduction? Or perhaps a horse panicked as it was being flown to some prestigious equine event and fell out of a plane…
More sinisterly, perhaps the Conservative party made this up to distract attention from their disastrous poll figures; or perhaps the Labour Party invented the story to highlight how, after 14 years of Tory rule, nobody is safe from horse impacts, not even the Princess Royal.
I think we should know the answer, don’t you?
